OFFERHIPRO REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

1. Platform Role

OfferHiPro is a technology platform that connects clients with independent service providers.

OfferHiPro:

  • Does not directly provide services

  • Does not employ service providers

  • Is not a party to service agreements

  • Does not guarantee service outcomes

All service agreements are made directly between clients and providers.


2. Nature of Service Transactions

Services listed on OfferHiPro may include:

  • Home services

  • Professional services

  • Freelance work

  • Consulting

  • Business services

Due to the nature of services:

Refunds and cancellations depend on:

  • Agreement between client and provider

  • Service type

  • Work already performed


3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 Client-Initiated Cancellations

Clients may cancel services subject to provider terms.

Common scenarios:

Before work begins:
Cancellation may be free or subject to a booking fee.

After work has started:
Partial refunds may apply depending on work completed.

Last-minute cancellations:
Providers may retain deposits or charge cancellation fees.


3.2 Provider-Initiated Cancellations

If a provider cancels:

They should:

  • Notify the client promptly

  • Offer rescheduling where possible

  • Refund any advance payments (if applicable)

Repeated cancellations may result in account restrictions.


4. Refund Policy

Refund eligibility depends on the specific case.

4.1 Eligible Situations

Refunds may be considered if:

  • Service was not delivered

  • Provider failed to attend confirmed booking

  • Significant deviation from agreed scope

  • Proven misconduct or fraud


4.2 Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are generally NOT provided for:

  • Change of mind

  • Minor dissatisfaction

  • Miscommunication not documented

  • Work already completed

  • Custom or digital services delivered


5. Deposits & Advance Payments

Some providers may request deposits.

Important notes:

  • Deposits may be non-refundable depending on provider policy

  • Clients should confirm terms before payment

  • Written agreements are strongly recommended

OfferHiPro does not control provider deposit policies.


6. Platform-Facilitated Payments (Future Feature)

If OfferHiPro introduces:

  • Escrow payments

  • In-app payments

  • Milestone-based billing

Additional refund rules may apply and will be disclosed clearly.


7. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises:

Step 1 — Direct Resolution

Clients and providers should attempt to resolve issues directly.

Step 2 — Platform Review

If unresolved, users may report disputes via:

  • Evidence submitted


8. OfferHiPro Mediation Role

OfferHiPro may:

  • Facilitate communication

  • Provide mediation tools

  • Issue warnings or account actions

However:

OfferHiPro is not a court or arbitration authority and cannot enforce refunds unless acting as a payment intermediary.


9. Fraud or Misconduct

If fraud is suspected:

  • Accounts may be suspended immediately

  • Evidence may be reviewed

  • Information may be shared with UAE authorities

Fraud may be prosecuted under UAE law.


10. Chargebacks

If a user initiates a payment chargeback:

  • Accounts may be suspended during investigation

  • We may provide records to financial institutions

  • False chargebacks may result in permanent bans


11. Liability Limitations

To the maximum extent permitted under UAE law:

OfferHiPro is not liable for:

  • Service dissatisfaction

  • Financial losses

  • Provider negligence

  • Indirect damages

Liability is limited to platform fees paid in the preceding 12 months (if applicable).

Nothing limits rights under UAE Consumer Protection Law.


12. Account Actions

OfferHiPro may take action in disputes, including:

  • Warning users

  • Removing listings

  • Suspending accounts

  • Terminating accounts for serious violations


13. Escalation to Authorities

In serious cases (fraud, illegal services, misconduct), users may escalate disputes to:

  • UAE Consumer Protection Department

  • Local police authorities

  • Competent UAE courts

OfferHiPro may cooperate with official investigations.


14. Policy Updates

This policy may be updated periodically.

Continued use of OfferHiPro constitutes acceptance of updates.
